Flowers
Flameworked Glass by Alice Turner

"I am especially interested in playing with the balanced tension between the physical substance and the fragile water-like qualities of this lovely material." – Alice Turner

Tiny Vases
Flameworked Glass by Alice Turner

In her Camano Island studio, Alice employs an oxygen-propane torch to work with borosilicate glass, a modern innovation of an ancient medium, as well as the more traditional Effetre or Moretti glass, 2which she uses for her beadwork.
