Over the years, Melanie has worked with soft pastels, colored pencils,
oils, acrylics, and pen and ink, but transparent watercolor is Melanie's
current medium of choice. For over 30 years, Melanie has donated work to
local community programs and children’s organizations in the
Portland
Oregon area, and more recently, throughout King and Snohomish County in
Washington State. She is actively involved with both local community arts
organizations, as well as the Stanwood Camano Foundation’s Art Banner
Program.
