Helen Saunders creates abstract paintings using a variety of acrylic
mediums, ferns, yarn, stones, and old jewelry.
Her
love of textured sculptural forms, transparent layers, and flowing earthy
colors all contribute to her unique style. Whether it's a fern hiding
under a layer of soft gel, long strands of yarn swimming in liquid gold, a
maple seed pod turned into a fantasy flying creature, she creates
excitement using ordinary materials in unusual ways.
