Mark has been taking art photographs for 25 years, but only began
publishing them for sale in 2002. Since then, he has garnered dozens of
awards, and
sold
hundreds of photographs. His style is eclectic - his photographs do not
all "look the same," other than sharing a common sense of good composition and compelling subject matter.

Mark
has brought great images home from Montana, Georgia, Peru, and Italy, among other
such "exotic" locations, but some of his most popular and compelling
images are captured right here in Puget Sound - some right in his own
backyard.

Mark has developed techniques for creating hyper-real photomontages
from multiple photos using layering and masking (no
"stitching").
The results are stunning panoramic landscapes that squeeze in more beauty
than you can actually see all at once.

Mark and his wife Vicki operate Quacky Studios out of their home on Camano Island, producing not only fine art photography, but oil paintings, jewelry, ceramics, fiber arts, and original music CDs.
